1 TeraWatt, 1 kHz , Ti:sapphire laser system – This system is now operational and was made possible through funding from the National Science Foundation MRI program. The final stage amplifier capable of handling thermal loads of 100 W of laser power was specially designed by Professor Charles Durfee.
Extended cavity Ti:sapphire oscillator – used for multiphoton imaging.
